Year 1: Anatomy & Physiology of Eye, Basic Optics & Refraction, Ocular Diseases, Optometric Instruments
Year 2: Clinical Methods in Optometry, Low Vision Aids, Contact Lens Practice, Internship / Practical Training
Students undergo extensive clinical training at Malabar Maxivision Eye Hospital, allowing them to practice diagnostic techniques, patient handling, and optometric procedures under expert supervision.
Diploma Courses: Minimum qualification is 10+2 (Science stream preferred).
B.Sc. Optometry (UG): Must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
PG Courses: Candidates must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree in optometry or a related health science field.
